I'd appreciate any suggestions regarding modelling of microtephra (volcanic ash) deposition in Lateglacial lake basins. The work is specifically in Scotland (Inner Hebrides). So far it seems interstadial (Borrobol) & stadial (Vedde) tephras have highest concs around inputs (a la Mangerud), while early Holocene (Saksunarvatn) deposits have highest concs in the deepest central parts of lakes. Other than stratgraphical depth, particle-size, distance from basin inputs etc, are there any other suggested variables? Many thanks, Sean Pyne-O'Donnell
